  1. Dioxins, Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and PBDEs

    Fera food safety specialists are expert at identifying and quantifying a range of PBDEs within your samples. Through this detailed analysis, useful insights can be found to confirm your sample is safe to offer to consumers. Our accredited methods are well suited to providing the accuracy and detection limits you require to highlight these contaminants.

  2. 3-MCPD Analysis
    3-MCPD (3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol), 2-MCPD (2-monochloropropane-1,2-diol) and glycidyl esters are a by-product of processing or refining edible oils and fats and are only relatively recent in their discovery.
  3. Aflatoxins B&G (Aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2, total)

    Fera Science Limited can analyse food or feed samples to measure levels of Aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2, and total. The methods used are fully compliant with EU contaminants legislation to allow you to assess your compliance with regulatory limits in place.

  4. Aflatoxins M1
    Fera can analyse dairy based samples to measure levels of Aflatoxins M1.
  5. Fumonisins (FB1, FB2 and FB3)
    Are you confident that the potential levels of Fumonisins of your supply chain are within the legislative levels? Fera Science Limited can analyse maize based food or feed samples to measure levels of fumonisins B1, B2 and B3.
  6. Nitrate/Nitrite
