Over the last 10 years Phil has moved into science management and now leads a team of over 140 scientists who provide diagnostic and R&D services to both government and the commercial sector. The main focus of these teams is on pests and diseases of agriculture and the environment, but the portfolio of work encompasses epidemiology, ecology, molecular biology, environmental economics and statistics as well as the traditional diagnostic approaches.
