Globally recognised provider of proficiency tests, running over 400 tests annually across an extensive range of matrices and analytes
A single sample taken by an ecologist at any time during the newt breeding season can determine their presence or absence, saving you time and money
Joy is a molecular biologist at Fera who has a broad range of practical molecular biology skills including real-time PCR, DNA profiling and sequencing.
Joy is a molecular biologist at Fera who has a broad range of practical molecular biology skills including real-time PCR, DNA profiling and sequencing. She is currently responsible for preparing and testing genetically modified proficiency test materials for the FAPAS international proficiency testing (PT) scheme. This work is carried out under ISO 17043 and aids customers in assuring compliance with GM legislative controls. Joy is also involved in meat and fish authenticity PTs including halal compliance checks in meat samples.
Fera offers a suite of crop health services, resources, testing facilities and expertise to help farmers, growers and the food industry to improve yields, reduce costs and develop sustainable solutions.
