Globally recognised provider of proficiency tests, running over 400 tests annually across an extensive range of matrices and analytes
A single sample taken by an ecologist at any time during the newt breeding season can determine their presence or absence, saving you time and money
Fera Science Limited can analyse food or feed samples to measure levels of ochratoxin A. The methods used are fully compliant with EU contaminants legislation to allow you to assess your compliance with regulatory limits in place.
Fera is the UK National Reference Laboratory for Mycotoxins and Plant Toxins in Food and Feed, if you would like to know more about the relevant regulations, please follow the link below:
The method used is fully accredited to ISO17025 for food and feed samples and uses an immunoaffinity column clean-up with HPLC-fluorescence detection. Matrix optimised extraction protocols coupled with highly specific clean-up protocols allow the analysis to respond optimally for challenging matrices so we can be sure the results produced are fit for purpose, accurate and precise.
Fera Science Limited can analyse food or feed samples to measure levels of ochratoxin A.
Ochratoxin A is a food and feed contaminating mycotoxin often produced by Aspergillus ochraceus or Penicillium verrucosum, Human exposure can occur through consumption of contaminated food products.
Ochratoxin A is a nephrotoxin which can cause acute and chronic effects in the kidneys of animals although the sensitivity of different species varies. However, ochratoxin A is genotoxic and teratogenic and also a potential carcinogen, hence the presence of ochratoxin A in food and feed is undesirable.
A 2 week free trial is available to test out FC24, if you are interested in this, please follow the link below:
