The third annual KTN Agri-Tech Investment Showcase was held on Monday 14th October at Prince Phillip House, Pall Mall, London. Building on the growth of previous events, our CEO, Dr Andrew Swift had a private invite to attend alongside a list of targeted investors. The room was filled with a largest cohort of Agri-Tech minded Investors likely to be assembled in the UK to date with the event being funded by Innovate UK. Background and thinking behind the event is very much about connecting entrepreneurship with available investment and maintaining the innovation badge that the UK has been long known for. The event is about inviting selected innovative companies looking for private investment and are actively participating in the 2019 KTN Agrifood Investment Accelerator Programme. This includes pitch training, video feedback critiquing, Farm491 support and KTN mentoring, culminating with the final 14 companies being selected to present their offer to Investors at the Showcase event in London.
Dr Andrew Swift commented ‘Overall the event was another great triumph, with some fantastic networking opportunities with key captains of industry and figure heads, all being in attendance.
