Philippe Carlhammar Joins as Chief Commercial Officer
With over 17 years of experience in global leadership roles in the scientific services sector, Philippe brings a wealth of expertise in international sales and strategic partnership development to deliver market expansion. Prior to joining Fera, he most recently led the strategic growth of global key accounts at Eurofins.

Katy Sawyer Joins as Chief People Officer
As Chief People Officer, Katy is responsible for developing and deploying Fera’s People Strategy which drives both the best cultural behaviours and operational performance for excellence in customer service and initiatives to attract, develop and retain the best talent into Fera’s ‘Academy’. Katy will play a key role in ensuring that Fera’s talent, at all levels, is engaged, motivated and aligned with the company’s mission and values.
Katy has an extensive background in developing and executing effective people strategies that align with business goals, ensuring a high performing and engaged workforce and overseeing significant organisational expansion through both organic and international M&A activity. Katy has spent the last 10 years working primarily in healthcare, healthcare-tech and bio-science industries, supporting the development and upscaling of organisations at pace. Successfully driving employee engagement and building effective organisational cultures with award winning results, most recently securing a listing on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
