Globally recognised provider of proficiency tests, running over 400 tests annually across an extensive range of matrices and analytes
A single sample taken by an ecologist at any time during the newt breeding season can determine their presence or absence, saving you time and money
Fera's food testing abilities can highlight levels of Natamycin within a range of beverages, including wine. Natamycin (INN), also known as pimaricin and sometimes sold as Natacyn, is a naturally occurring antifungal agent produced during fermentation.
Within this screen we regard a positive result as being above 5µg/L. As an optional addition to this test we are able to provide quantification if positive results are found.
Natamycin is listed as a banned additive across many wine producers and importing countries. Their banned additive status however requires extensive regulatory testing to ensure legislative requirements are being met.
Our flexible methods are able to accurately quantify the levels of any positive results found of Natamycin to aid you within your quality control efforts & provide further detail which you can use to address any potential issues within your production processes.
Making use of state of the art technologies, our analysis methods provide the accuracy you need to have confidence in your results, as well as performing this analysis activity across a range of samples. Contact us to discuss how Fera can meet your bespoke requirements.
