Each year Fera staff gather together to share their latest research developments at the annual Fera Science symposium, providing a forum to learn, question and feedback.

The overarching theme for this year's event is "Food production at a crossroads; a time for transformative change".

The two day symposium brings together young scientists and PhD students across Fera, IAFRI (Institute for Agri-Food Research and Innovation), colleagues from Newcastle University and invited guests to promote collaboration, share the latest research knowledge and inspire creativity and original thought.
