Join Policy Lates free event on Monday 7th October to discuss insect decline

This Biology Week event is part of the Policy Lates series, which provides an opportunity for relaxed discussion with an interested and informed audience. They will consider what we know about insect declines and what we don’t know, to better understand the causes and consequences of insect population changes.

Dr Larissa Collins, Entomologist at Fera Science, will be be joining the panel to share her expertise. Larissa has worked across a broad variety of entomological topics. She manages a team of 14 entomologists delivering insect identification and advice to Defra on Plant Health; monitoring for agricultural and horticultural insect pests for several commercial customers; monitoring for mites in feed and food premises; research into mite biology to improve monitoring and control; and research on the development of novel insect control methods. Learn more about Larissa's work here.
