Cyst nematodes: Number of eggs per gram of soil
  • Standard Turnaround Time
    15 working days

Our experienced Fera nematologists can determine the number of cyst nematode eggs per gram of soil within your samples. From this detailed analysis prevention strategies can be introduced to ensure crop yield and quality is protected against these cyst nematodes.

This test can only be carried out if viable adult female cyst nematodes have been recovered from your samples beforehand from one of our other PCN tests.

Fera plant health experts can perform an analysis on all types of cysts including Potato cyst nematode (PCN) and Beet cyst nematode (BCN).

Cyst nematodes have the potential to cause substantial yield loss across your crop, in part because of a restricted number of chemical control strategies available.
