This test is to detect the presence of Ring Rot and Brown Rot in potato tubers.
  2. Tomato root mat disease (Root-inducing plasmid) testing
A test for Tomato Root Mat Disease caused by Rhizobium rhizogenes, a gram-negative soil bacterium that contains root-inducing (Ri) plasmids which can lead to over-abundant growth of roots in tomatoes and cucumbers.
  3. Crown Gall Disease (Tumor-Inducing Plasmid) Testing
A test for Rhizobium radiobacter (formerly known as Agrobacterium tumefaciens), which is responsible for crown gall disease in plants. The bacterium enters the plant through wounds in roots or stems and stimulates disorganised tissue growth, producing swollen galls.
  4. Potato wash water test - Total count of soft rotting bacteria (Pectobacterium and Dickeya spp.)
An overall count of soft rotting bacteria in potato wash water.

A latent test for a bacterial disease affecting strawberries caused by Xanthomonas fragariae.

  6. Angular leaf spot (Xanthomonas fragariae) - Microprop Plantlets
Angular leaf spot is a disease in strawberries caused by the bacterial pathogen Xanthomonas fragariae.
  7. Bacterial spot - Xanthomonas spp. - tomato or pepper (10,000 seeds)
Test to detect Xanthomonas spp. (Xanthomonas euvesicatoria, Xanthomonas gardeneri, Xanthomonas perforans and Xanthomonas vesicatoria) in tomato and sweet pepper seeds
  8. Bacterial canker - Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis - Seed (10,000 seeds)
Detection of the pathogenic bacteria Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis in tomato seeds.
  9. Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae - Carrot seed (10,000 seeds)
Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae, more commonly known as the bacterial blight of carrot.
  10. Black Rot - Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris - Brassica - Seeds only (10,000 seeds)
Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris, more commonly known as black rot, can be found across a range of host plants, infecting all cultivated Brassicas. This includes cabbage, cauliflower and mustard varieties.
  11. Bean blight seed test - Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. phaseoli (5,000 seeds)
Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. phaseoli, more commonly known as Bean Blight. It produces similar symptoms on leaves, pods, stems and seeds.
  12. Halo blight seed test - Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. phaseolicola - bean (5,000 seeds)
